For as long as I can remember, I have always been fascinated by photography, pictures, and visual images as such. Since the day I got my first camera, my feelings haven't changed much... Photography is my greatest passion, my first love, and an integral part of my life.

More than 25 years ago, I did my first photo shoot, not even realizing that it would be the beginning of my life as a photographer. I didn't even notice when photography became my life. It just happened. Even when I was in school, my bag was always full of prints of the latest or best photos. At that time, there was no internet, no Instagram, no Facebook, but my enthusiasm was contagious. I showed them to everyone I could. Until someone said, "Hey, take a picture of me too!" That's how it started, naturally, step by step, without any grand plan to become a photographer. Gradually, photography became my way of seeing and sharing the world. And now I can't imagine it being any other way.

I've had a camera in my hands for as long as I can remember, and the passion is just as strong today as it was on day one. I am drawn to photography because it allows me to step into people’s stories. It trains my eye to look for beauty and find the magic hidden in everyday moments.
To me, a photoshoot is never just about getting nice pictures. It is a shared human experience and a chance to build a real connection. It is about capturing that feeling of being loved, of belonging, and knowing you matter.
Beyond the camera, I am a father, husband, brother, son, and friend. I am a calm, empathetic guy who appreciates a great conversation. I find my inspiration in sports, books, and music. My childhood was spent in Vecumnieki growing up somewhere between the local gym and my family’s strawberry fields.
It was becoming a father that made me truly grasp the weight of what I do. Photography is how we hold onto the fleeting moments that would otherwise quietly slip from our memories.
Love, family, and friendship are the core values that drive my work.
My work has been in a few magazines, and I have won an award or two that probably aren't a big deal to anyone but my grandmother. Accolades aren't why I do this. I don't shoot to create universally appealing art. I shoot to create images that mean the world to you. I want to give you photos you will fiercely protect, photos that will become your most priceless memories. I genuinely believe that a great session can shift how you see yourself and your life.
Always remember that beauty is never just about how you look. It is a feeling, and it shines through in exactly how you view yourself.
